Since the full-scale invasion by Russia in February 2022, the Ukrainian people have not only defended their homeland with unwavering determination but have also continued to nurture their rich cultural heritage. Music, art, and creativity have become powerful tools of resistance, offering solace, strength, and a voice to a nation under siege. As the world rallies behind Ukraine, it’s important to recognize and support the incredible contributions of Ukrainian artists who continue to create, inspire, and uplift even in the darkest of times.

In this article, we shine a light on 10 independent Ukrainian musical artists who are not only keeping their culture alive but also using their platforms to amplify Ukraine’s voice on the global stage. By supporting these artists, we not only celebrate their talent but also stand in solidarity with a nation that continues to inspire the world with its bravery and resilience. Slava Ukraini! 1. ONUKA

  • About: ONUKA is a project led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Nata Zhyzhchenko. 2. DakhaBrakha

3. The Hardkiss
